About Paula & Richard

Paula graduated in graphic design and co-founded Thewayforward in 1994. She spent ten years at leading London consultancies working on the rebranding of BP, Shell and Nissan culminating in being responsible for brand guidelines and aiding marketing managers worldwide in its implementation. Paula is committed to work passionately in partnership with clients. She is delighted to educate clients in the branding process to deliver their business goals.

She is also a trained stylist bringing creativity to photographic shoots which support client’s marketing requirements. Out of hours she enjoys family time, sporting challenges and exploring art & design around Europe.

Richard graduated in engineering product design and loves great product design and innovative design solutions. Before Thewayforward, he worked for major London agencies such as Fitch and Wolff Olins. Now he helps clients to achieve outstanding solutions for new signage schemes, print projects, web, digital and exhibitions. Richard is also a commercial photographer shooting and editing imagery for web, print and large format applications.

Out of hours he is a dedicated runner [from ParkRun to marathons], road cyclist, skier, sports car enthusiast and exploring art & design around Europe with Paula.
